On a memorandum that the National Telecommunications Center (NTC) released last January 30 2014 on which it asked the ISP providers to block pornsites which contains child pornography. Sites which will be blocked will be given by NTC upon the recommendation of Inter-Agency Council against Child Pornography (“IACACP”) . This is to facilitate the implementation of Republic Act No. 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009.
So in the essence porn sites will not be banned wholly but only those which have child pornography content on it…
