TOGA weight loss procedure

[youtube UL7SPx_88nI]

Who doesn’t want a body like Angelina Jolie or Hugh Jackman?

For an obese like me (yes, I admit) , these is almost an impossible dream.

I love to eat and for me it’s a crime to say no to a delicious meal.

There is a lot of people who don’t have food to eat, so why should I shy away with this blessing?

I don’t want to exercise.

I live in a tropical country, by just standing still could break you some sweat.

I hate incision and I don’t want to be cut open and have a gastric bypass surgery.

Diet pills? Well, i’m afraid of the side effects…decreased libido.

Well, that narrows my choice of weigh loss procedure to……. NONE.

Until recently, there is another choice to be… TOGA (transoral gastroplasty)

The procedure doesn’t need an incision.

They will pass the instrument through your mouth and staple within your stomach to make it much smaller.

Once the upper part is smaller when you eat it will give you a sense of fullness that will lead to less food intake.

End result is gradual weight reduction.

The procedure still not approved but in a few years for sure this will be the “IT’ in weigh loss procedure.

Japan Elderly Porn Business

[youtube Sb7gOC8YDOk]

How would you know if your society have a high elderly population?

Well, look at its porn business, if it is offering geriatric porn titles or movies then you have a high elderly percentage.

To no surprise,  Japan is now one of the leading country with geriatric porn.

As they say, Japanese are workaholic and one of the most stressed people.

This tend to lend to an inactive sex-life and would result more often than not a low birth rate.

In a report conducted by WHO they found out that 1 in 4 married people in Japan had not made love in almost a year.

A country that have a low sex activity but caters to geriatric porn, isn’t it contrasting?

So, maybe geriatric porn is a way of telling the world that  we have been  stressed all our life and as a retiree we would like to catch up.

We’re old but we’re still stiff…

Lessons from a Thai Layer Farm

Lessons from a Thai Layer Farm

By Ronald G. Mangubat

In Changmai, Thailand, success in the layer business is anchored on being part of an empowered cooperative.

Our recent visit to a layer farm in Changmai, Thailand only confirmed what we heard that in this country, farmers are disciplined, business minded and organized. They also get more support from the government and from their fellow farmers as well.

One sweltering morning, we (a group of agrijournalist from Asia, UK and Australia) visited a layer farm in Changmai owned by K. Supatra Lounnetngern, a former professor in an agricultural college. Together with his whole family, the former academician abandoned the world of textbooks and decided to practice what he has been teaching for years. With his family’s support, Lounnetngern focused all his energies on the layer business. With a 4-6 million baht investment loaned from a bank, the new entrepreneur, through the help of agricultural consultants, built a closed-system type of layer farm, complete with huge ventilation machines and other modern poultry paraphernalia that would be conducive for the birds to lay their eggs on time.

Having had several cases of bird flu in the past, the Thais are very strict when it comes to poultry house sanitation. The day we visited the farm, we were required to wear sanitizes overalls, boots, masks, gloves, etc. before we were allowed to enter the layer house. They laid down their rules clearly: no talking, no pictures-just five minutes of observation. The birds should not be disturbed because the moment they get stressed, they might not lay eggs.
