Chronic constipation – take roasted seeds, alone or mixed liberally with other foods.

Lanting

Scientific name: Plantago major, plantago crenata, plantago erosa, platago media

Also known as:

Broad leaved plantain, ribwort, cart tract plant, way bread, llantin, wild saso, plantain

Indications:

Gum inflammation or gingivitis- use decoction as mouth wash or gargle.

Skin irritation – apply decoction over affected areas.

Lantana

Scientific name: Lantana camara, lantana aculeate, lantana viburnoides.

Also known as: Albahaca de caballo, baho-baho, cinco negritos, coronitas, kantutai.

Uses:

Fever- take decoction of bark or infusion of leaves and flowering tops as tea.

Rheumatism – spread oil in leaves,warm over low flame and apply on affected part.

Wound or contusions- pound leaves and apply on affected area.
