A lot of netizen are angered on the move of BIR director Kim Henares on garnishing/ freezing the bank accounts of Manny Pacquiao this is in relation on a case filed by BIR 2-3 years ago. According to BIR upon their assessment Manny Pacquiao owned the government 2.2 billion pesos in taxes. The BIR is asking the camp of Manny Pacquiao for a copy of his tax return in the USA but instead the camp of the people champ only showed them a letter from Top Rank acknowledging that they have paid their taxes in the USA. As per Kim Henares this is not acceptable and what they are waiting is the copy of the income tax return that they filed at Internal Revenue Service USA. China’s blunder on it’s response to Typhoon Yolanda
China is trying to overshadow their blunder by sending medical team to the typhoon yolanda’s victim. After being criticized by the international community by their initial pledge of 100,000 US dollars and then raising it up to more than 1 million US dollars worth of supplies seems to make no positive effect to redeem their tarnished image. And trying to compensate for all of it they are now sending humanitarian medical assistance to affected victims.
