Suncellular Discount billing Scammers

Just received this message from a sun number 092269447_ _

“Suncellular: You’re the one selected pospaid plan given 35% discount billing, to get your 35% discount billing just forward 17-digit secret code to 2292. You will receive 17-digit secret code  on next message!”

then i received another text to the same number

“50 09225928_ _   9333”

i put a blank in the last two digit for legal purposes…

kung nag attempt  ka na isend sa 2292 yun number na binigay niya you will be charged 51 pesos dahil ang 2292 ay share a load system ng sun cellular and as you can see sa next text niya andun ang 2nd number niya.

so ingat sa scammers….

  1. I received the same text message.. but the number used to send the message as well as the number indicated in the next text is different than the one you mentioned. The number indicated in the secret code is 09225935*** 0555.

    I wonder where they get our numbers.

  2. they are just guessing the number.

    i think 09228 and 09229 are post paid numbers ng sun cellular. so what they do they just guess numbers starting from this digits.

  3. just received another same text message from 09435128671, but the number they want me to send the pasaload was: 09435128606. Pero ang ginawa ko ay magkadugtong ang first two digit don sa 15 digits na binigay niya sa akin, kaya hindi successful. ang reply ng 2292 is SORRY BUT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ONLY UP TO 50 REGULAR LOAD PER SEND. PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
    Don ko lang nakita na ang sinend niya na 17 numbers ay nakahiwalay pala dapat ang 50 don sa next 15 numbers. buti na lang napabuti ang kahinaan ng mata ko.
    to you scammers, babalik din yan sa inyo, 100 times.

    I received texts from the following nos.: 09423608770, 09423608825, 09423608793, 09423608791.

    Sun Cellular should already take action against these people using its network to perpetrate the scam and protect its honest and loyal subscribers from being scammed. A simple change in its give-a-load procedure (such as requiring a password from the the one giving load) could already put an end to such a scam.

  14. same here… same message pero from a different number… ngayon ko lng din po natanggap… here’s the number 0933-199-9145 and the code was 50_09231156108_8000…

    Nka postpaid po ako… and before i jump-in sa mga ganitong invitations, i tend to check it if it’s a scam…

    Now where can report this number para di na sila mkapanloko p ng iba..

    nag search ako sa internet at ayun nakita ko ang tread na ito… scammer nga. hay naku mga scammers talaga walang ginagawang matino.

    Nag reply ako ng “p*tang ina mo at mamatay ka na scammer”. ayun hindi nag reply.

    Ito gamit nyang number: 0932-9243919.

  22. I totally ignored it then out of curiosity, I dialed the given number… it was ringing for sometime but nobody picked it up.. tried the second number… rings and rings but no one answered it… haysh… scammers are getting wiser and smarter but we are more than that…

  24. I think alam nilang postpaid tayo because of the first 4 or 7 digits natin, IMHO.

    I was curious with this one because first time kong makatanggap ng ganitong message, and the catch is “discount”. Lol. Buti na lang I didn’t follow the procedure and searched google to see if the “discount” is true and I’ve found this thread! Nireplyan ko na lang si scammer ng “Sige kuya, push mo lang yan.” Haha.
