Most Filipino want to have a whiter skin. This is the reason why there are a lot of products now in the market which are catered to this need/want…
From the usual soap and lotion, now whitening products have evolved into a capsule type of medication. Although most of them are under the category of supplement products and no therapeutic claims they are still being marketed as a whitening product. Being in the no approved therapeutic claim category they cannot substantiate their claim 100% that it could whiten one’s skin. Add insult to injury is the unscrupulous work of others that make fakes or substandard products.
Better are the days of CY Gabriel, Likas papaya, black and white etc…pagnangati ka tigil agad at hindi pa ganun kamahal like other products.
SMS should be Free – DOTC
According to DOTC they are now studying to abolish the charges of sms or text message.
Telecommunication company is paying only for voice service franchise and so therefore they should only charge for voice calls and not for sms or text messaging.
Well, if this could materialize then its good news for the common Juan but bad news for the telcos.

Philippines is the World Top Importer of Rice
The Philippine is considered as an agricultural country but it is the world top importer of rice. It is a bit ironic. Add to the insult is that years back we are the one who teaches our neighboring country about agriculture but today we are the one who is importing agricultural product from them.
Currently the country is importing 2.2 million tons of rice every year (source:goldsea.com). By doing so, the government is shouldering the burden of paying high and selling low. They pay high in the world market and sell it low so our kababayan can afford it.
Due to some alleged hording and unscrupulous pricing the government is now investigating the distributors of NFA rice and will charged accordingly.
