Ugaling kalye

Bakit nga ba ang kulit natin sa kalye?

 I mean laging sumisingit ang mga driver sa kalsada.

 Kung walang traffic halos paliparin na ang sasakyan.

Kung saan saan bumababa at sumasakay.

Tawid ng tawid at nakikipagpatentero sa mga dumadaang bus at dyip.

Ewan nga ba.

Kung siguro lahat ng lumalabag sa batas ay huhulihin baka sakaling mabago ang ugali ng pinoy.

Naalala ko pa nung bata ako kapag may tumawid sa hindi tamang tawiran hinuhuli ng pulis at ang kulungan nila ay nasa gitna ng kalsada na kung saan nakikita sila ng lahat ng dumadaan.

Simula noon naimplement ang ganitong uri ng panghuhuli  halos konti na ang nagjaywalking. Sayang nga lang at itinigil ito dahil daw labag sa human rights.

Eh, pano naman ang human rights namin!!!

Dahil sa mga pasaway nayan laging nagtratrafic kaya tuloy lagi kaming nalalate sa trabaho.

Santol seeds grows in intestine?

When I was young I love to eat santol especially with salt on top.  The always precaution my mother will tell me is to never swallow the seed. Anyway, swallowing it is almost impossible for me, as most of us know, santol seeds are large and it is difficult to swallow especially if you are a small child.  

When I ask why it should not be swallowed my mother would tell me that it would not be digested and will lodge in my intestine and grow.

Today as an adult (sometimes) I do believe it is just a myth. There is no way a seed could grow inside a human body. But until recently,  I am having second thought especially hearing about the news that a man was operated and found out that  a fir tree have grown on its lungs. Whether a freak of nature or what ever ,  I would stay away from swallowing santol seeds. 

Oxygen in can

 A few years back, maybe around 10 years ago, I wrote an essay about how would our future would be if we continue to pollute our surrounding. I thing I remembered most is when I said that time would come that our air is so polluted that clean oxygen would be available in bottles.

To my surprise, air in can is now a reality.  I don’t believe that our air is that polluted that it warrants a need for this product. As per advertisement, the product is more of medicinal in purpose rather than necessity.
