Also known as; balogo, balubad, balubag, baluban, balubat, and iso amyl alcohols, batuban, bolugo, cashew, kachui, kasoi, kasul, kologo, kosing, sambalduke.
Uses:
Astringent and mouth wash- Gargle dilute infusion of bark and leaves and retain in mouth for a few minutes to relieve toothache or sore gums and sore throat. Do not swallow.
Active component:
Sitosterin, cardol, anacardic acid, lignoceric acid.
