From time to time you will find a post in metrodeal about a tour package in Puerto Princessa Palawan by Al Carlo’s Pension house and for your peace of mind i would tell you that this deal is not a scam. We bought a voucher from them a few months ago and we enjoyed our tour with them.
Our tour is composed a city tour and underground river tour. It is a great experience and a laid-back one….
Al Carlo’s Pension house although is only about 5-10 minutes tricycle ride to the main avenue / city proper as per my own description/opinion it is a bit far flung especially you can find some pension house near the city proper. The rooms are clean but some rooms don’t have it’s own restroom. There are communal rest room located near each room. There is no 24 hours store in the pension so food is a bit of problem. So better stock some foods .
All in all if you want a laid back travel in Puerto Princessa buying a voucher from Al Carlo’s Pension is worth it…
